Shakes, Rattle & Roll

Paying tribute to our hometown, this show lovingly links the signature music of Memphis to the works of Shakespeare that (we imagine) inspired them.  You will discover chart-topping, toe-tapping, foot-stomping, got-to-jump-out-of-your-seat-and-move-with-it SHAKESPEARE!  Enjoy a whirlwind of scenes and soliloquies sure to make you want to SHOUT!

Southern Sirens

The celebrated, Southern prose of Eudora Welty and Flannery O'Connor are dramatized in this NEW 45-minute performance. Excerpts from stories and letters illuminate the ground-breaking styles of these short story writers as they tackle social truths with arresting clarity and humor.

Performance Space:  To play, we require approximately a 16’ wide x 15’ deep space for the performance.  Stage lights and amplified sound are unnecessary.  Our actors will bring everything they require with them.  No stage or elevation is required, so we can play in a variety of spaces.  Though we do not require a stage or raised playing space, please ensure the chosen performance area has good visibility for your audience. Material is suitable for all ages.

Shake(s), Rattle, and Roll selected material: Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, Richard II, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night, and Taming of the Shrew.

Southern Sirens:  This show is in development.  Check back soon for more details.
